\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nOur client is a growing multi-site dairy operation seeking a hands-on leader to bridge herd management, feed execution, and operational coordination. This is a new role created due to expansion and growth.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\n\r\n• Oversee herd health routines and support existing herdsman\r\n\r\n• Manage feed execution and bunk management\r\n\r\n• Monitor feeding accuracy + collaborate with nutrition/crop teams\r\n\r\n• Coordinate across herd, shop/maintenance, and forage teams\r\n\r\n• Ensure issues are followed through to completion (not just delegated)\r\n\r\n• Lead and support a predominantly Hispanic labor force\r\n\r\n• Work directly with ownership to drive performance and efficiency\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nIdeal Background\r\n\r\n• Experience in dairy herd management\r\n\r\n• Exposure to feed/bunk management (or strong willingness to learn)\r\n\r\n• Operational, problem-solving, and leadership mindset\r\n\r\n• Strong communication + accountability skills\r\n\r\n• “All hands in” attitude vs. siloed thinking\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nNutrition knowledge is a plus but not required.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nSchedule & Location\r\n\r\n• On-site role, 5–6 days/week (rotation)\r\n\r\n• Increased involvement during planting/harvest seasons\r\n\r\n• Local preferred; relocation support available for the right person\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCulture\r\n\r\n• Team-first, non-siloed environment\r\n\r\n• Ownership mentality\r\n\r\n• Continuous improvement\r\n\r\n• Growing operation with room for meaningful impact\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nWhy This Role Stands Out\r\n\r\n• New position with real influence\r\n\r\n• Multi-site responsibility\r\n\r\n• Touches herd + feed + operations (rare combination)\r\n\r\n• Direct access to decision-makers and owners\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nInterested in this Opportunity?
