Allied Cooperativeis hiring an Energy Sales Specialistto join our team in Marshfield, WI (about 80 miles east of Eau Claire). In this role you will be selling and servicing energy products such as propane and refined fuels, building long-term customer relationships, and delivering consultative solutions that improve efficiency and performance.

What you will be doing:

Evaluate existing customer energy programs and develop strategic marketing and sales initiatives that drive growth across agriculture, commercial, and residential markets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships by identifying energy needs and providing consultative, value-driven solutions.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, distribution, operations, technical, and credit teams to maximize the effectiveness of energy sales efforts.
Prepare and present sales proposals, contracts, bids, and presentations to support successful outcomes.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a timely, professional manner.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of multiple energy products and services and apply this expertise in all aspects of the role.
Promote and uphold a strong safety culture by complying with all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

This job is for you if you have:

Minimum of 2 years of outside sales experience, including product presentations, negotiations, bid preparation, and closing sales.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field.
Additional outside sales experience with strong skills in negotiation, customer service, conflict resolution, and independent work.
Experience in energy, petroleum, refined fuels, lubricants, or related industries.
Background in developing marketing plans, calculating margins, and managing profitability.
Mechanical aptitude or understanding of equipment used in energy or agricultural applications.
