Your Role:Enterprise Data Steward,Vendor Master Data
As an Enterprise Data Steward at Elanco, you will be a vital champion for our most critical data assets, playing a pivotal role in ensuring the quality, integrity, and usability of those assets.
Reporting to the Enterprise Data Office, you will be accountable forVendorMaster data and willbe responsible forensuring its quality, integrity, and business value. The role will partner closely with business stakeholders and IT, helping to implement and uphold data governance policies and standards.
This role is perfect for a detail-oriented professional with deep business knowledge who can act as the crucial link between business stakeholders and IT to ensure our data is trusted, understood, and used effectively.
Ensure data quality end-to-end: set quality rules and metrics, proactivelymonitor, lead root-cause analysis, and drivetimelyissue resolution with data producers and consumers.
Govern access and lifecycle: manage review/approval processes for data access, and oversee creation, usage, archival, and disposal in compliance with retention, regulatory, and security policies.
Advance architecture and measure impact: translate business needs into data models/integrations,identifyinnovation opportunities, track KPIs with business/IT, and recommend best-practice and emerging tech improvements.
What You Need to Succeed (minimum qualifications):
Experience:Deep knowledge and experience in a relevant business function (e.g., R&D, Manufacturing, Commercial, Finance, Supply Chain, etc.)
Understanding of Data Governance:A strong foundational knowledge of data governance principles, including data quality, metadata management, and data stewardship andData Tools Familiarity:Experience with data cataloguing tools (e.g., Collibra) and data quality management software.

Data-Driven Attitude:A passion for data and a firm belief in its power to drive business outcomes. Should alsopossessa foundational understanding of data architecture principles, including data modeling, integration patterns, and data platform concepts, with an ability to articulate how these support business strategy.
Demonstrated Skill inIssue Resolution and Escalation:Facilitatethe resolution of data discrepancies, conflicts, and issues, escalating complex problems toappropriate datagovernance bodies or IT teams when necessary.
