Job Summary
Generations of Pets. Decades of Trust. One Fun-tastic Team.
Milton Veterinary Hospital _ Middle Grove, NY_
For years, Milton Veterinary Hospital has been a trusted, beloved part of the Middle Grove community. Our privately owned, full-service small animal hospital delivers consistent, compassionate care with updated equipment, modern diagnostics, and an old-fashioned commitment to knowing our clients by name (and their pets by their preferred treat).
We’re a small team with big hearts, and now we’re looking for a Full- or Part-Time Associate Veterinarian to join the fun. If you’re the kind of vet who enjoys teamwork, values relationships, and doesn’t mind a little silliness along the way, you’ll fit right in.
You deserve to love where you work, and we make that easy!
WHO WE ARE
Milton Veterinary Hospital was designed with both pets and people in mind. We take a relationship-forward approach to medicine because we believe trust is built in the exam room just as much as it is in the community.
We offer full-service care, from preventive visits to in-house lab testing, digital and dental radiology, dentistry, surgery, and everything in between. We even have separate cat and dog entrances, because the only drama we want to see is the occasional cat giving the side-eye from their carrier.
WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT
- Privately owned and drama-free: No corporate playbook, no “production pressure,” and nobody telling you how to practice medicine. Your medical brain gets to do its thing.
- A truly small, close-knit team: We enjoy working together, supporting each other, and laughing a lot.
- Flexible scheduling: Full-time or part-time options. Work/life balance isn’t a unicorn here; it’s real.
- All the tools: In-house lab, digital X-ray, dental X-ray, surgical suite, Class IV laser, ultrasound.
- Benefits you’d expect: Competitive compensation, PTO, CE, retirement, health benefits, professional freedom, and a supportive team culture.
- Clients who actually listen: Our community trusts us, respects us, and rarely brings us homemade YouTube diagnoses.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- A DVM (or soon-to-be) eligible to practice in NY
- Someone who loves preventive medicine, client education, and building long-term relationships
- A team-oriented human who genuinely enjoys animals and people
- Someone who wants to love where they work, feel supported, and have fun while practicing excellent medicine
READY TO JOIN US?
If you’re looking to land somewhere you can practice great medicine, enjoy your coworkers, laugh daily, and feel good about the clients and community you serve, we’d love to meet you.
Send us your resume and a quick note telling us what excites you about veterinary medicine. Bonus points for a pet photo! We enjoy those as much as references.
