Job Description: Our client is seeking an Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarian to join a high-volume, specialist emergency service within one of Australia’s most advanced referral hospitals. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside the largest team of Criticalists in the country, supported by a highly experienced emergency nursing team and purpose-built ICU facilities.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing emergency and critical care cases across varied shift patterns
- Delivering advanced emergency stabilisation and ongoing patient care
- Working collaboratively with Criticalists, residents, interns, and nursing teams
- Communicating clearly with clients during high-pressure clinical situations
- Contributing positively to a supportive, team-focused emergency service
Qualifications Needed:
- Veterinary degree eligible for registration in New South Wales
- Minimum of two years’ full-time experience as a veterinarian
- Previous emergency or urgent care experience desirable but not essential
- Strong ability to multitask and manage a high-volume caseload
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and teamwork
- Positive, adaptable approach in a fast-paced clinical environment
