AgHires is hiring a part-time, 25-hour-per-week, remote Recruiting Assistant to join our team. Your work matters! Be part of a team passionate about elevating talent across our industry and making a real impact every day.
In this role, you will support our recruiting team by focusing on candidate sourcing, which includes researching companies, searching and reaching out to candidates, to assist the recruiters in building their candidate pool. It’s a behind-the-scenes position and is not client-facing. You would work collaboratively with our internal team members.

Our Ideal Hire Brings
- Experience in agriculture, horticulture, or agribusiness sectors such as crop inputs, agronomy, livestock, seed, animal nutrition, genetics, greenhouse production, or food processing is required
- Bachelor’s degree a plus
- Ability to work 25 hours/week, Monday-Friday (9 am-2 pm in your time zone)
- Proven administrative, customer service, support, coordinator, or related experience
Your Focus Areas
- Partner with recruiters and sales to understand job requirements, skillsets, and agricultural industry nuances
- Research and source candidates using advanced tools and online recruiting techniques
- Develop personalized outreach messages to engage potential candidates
- Coordinate candidate pipelines and outreach responses
- Maintain accurate and organized applicant tracking in the ATS
- Support leadership with administrative projects across recruiting, sales, marketing, and training
