```Duties```
-Caring for feline and canine patients
-Posses excellent skills for catheter placement, fluid administration, and patient monitoring
-dispensing and administering pharmaceuticals
- Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals
- Perform various laboratory tests and procedures (in house and send-out)
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist during surgical procedures
-maintenance of equipment and preparation of surgical packs
- Monitor animals' vital signs and report any abnormalities to veterinarians
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and symptoms
-Assist doctors on follow-up calls to clients for up-dates on patient's conditions
-Knowledge of hospital veterinary software and to be able to input client and medical information
-Be familiar with opening and closing procedures of the hospital
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and treatment
- Clean and maintain veterinary equipment and instruments
-Work well with other team members, help train new hires and be professional at all times
```Experience```
- Previous experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital preferred
- Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in animal handling techniques
- Familiarity with aseptic technique for maintaining a sterile environment
- Strong animal care skills, including grooming, feeding, and exercise
- Ability to perform laboratory tests and interpret results accurately
- Knowledge of animal husbandry practices
