The Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse leader to join our Erskine Park team on a full time, permanent basis in the newly created role of Warehouse Director, ANZ. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for all warehouse and distribution functions across multiple facilities in Australia & New Zealand (ANZ). As part of the APAC Leadership team, you will set the strategic direction for all operational functions in alignment to wider business and commercial strategic objectives and drive logistics projects involving operating models, transportation, automation and outsourcing.
Your responsibilities will include –
- Using benchmark and industry insights to set clear direction for all warehouse teams across ANZ, proactively identifying, designing, implementing and maintaining initiatives and projects to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the operational teams.
- Driving cluster projects or initiatives in accordance with the transformation agenda which will include leading project development from concept to final design and approval.
- Supporting local teams to ensure reliable, efficient operational management of all functions and implementation of effective KPI’s so that operational performance can be monitored and early identification of issues or risks can be actioned.
- Development of people initiatives to ensure that training and development of operational employees are aligned to current and future operational needs.
- Acting as part of the senior leadership, ensuring development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
To be successful you will have;
- Tertiary qualifications in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior warehouse operations, logistics, and/or supply chain leadership position with specific experience leading large teams across multiple sites.
- Experience in project management and logistic solution design.
- Strong ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with strong communication and customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers.
- Experience in sourcing 3PL services.
- Experience leading and coaching team members.
