Sea to Sky Veterinary Clinic is looking for a Veterinary Technologist to join our team! We are a local, family owned and operated practice located in Squamish, BC in our 5th year since opening.
Be part of an inclusive team and a company where you have a voice in how things are run. We are a very modern practice with a full in-house lab (hematology, biochem, blood gases, coagulation, urine), laparoscopy, endoscopy, ultrasound, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, 3 exam rooms, dedicated surgical and dental suites and a large treatment/prep area.
What is expected of you and what should expect from us:
We expect you to be professional, kind in your job! We're all human and we all have bad days but we still expect the above. We expect you to have a sense humor (we love to laugh and banter) and be adaptable in your role. We expect you to have a strong, team-orientated approach to your job and our practice's core values. At our clinic, culture is critical! We expect you to share this view. Communication skills are a must and toxicity isn't tolerated! This one isn't negotiable. Finally, we like to play music during the day. We don't expect you to like country/western but also expect that you don't hate it (don't worry...we have rotating playlists).
You should expect from us:
- A fun and safe work environment with a dedication to providing excellent veterinary and client care to the entire sea to sky corridor (and beyond)
- Coffee, tea and snacks to be provided on a daily basis to help keep the energy levels where they need to be
- Benefits
- Leave - paid and unpaid
- Uniforms
- Your own locker and dedicated staffroom with kitchen and shower
- Social events put on by the company
- Your voice and opinions to be heard
We haven't even touched on the topic of living and working in Squamish....conveniently nestled within a stone-throw from Vancouver and Whistler and an amazing place all to itself!
