Williamson County Equipment Company is seeking a Service Manager to join its team in Taylor, TX, to lead and oversee the service department's operations.

As a
Service Manager, you will serve as a hands-on leader, guiding the service team, supporting daily operations, and upholding the dealership’s commitment to quality workmanship and customer service. You will work closely with technicians and leadership to keep the department running smoothly, professionally, and in alignment with company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop service technicians to maximize productivity, quality, and job satisfaction
- Establish clear expectations and hold the service team accountable for performance, workmanship, and professionalism
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule service work to meet customer needs while optimizing labor efficiency
- Serve as the primary leader and escalation point for customer service issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Review, approve, and manage repair orders to ensure accurate documentation, proper billing, and compliance with company policies and manufacturer warranty requirement
- Oversee technician training, certifications, and ongoing development to maintain manufacturer compliance and technical excellence
- Collaborate with the sales department to ensure timely and accurate make-ready preparation of new and used equipment
- Maintain department standards for cleanliness, organization, safety, and proper use of company tools, equipment, and service vehicles
- Monitor department performance and identify opportunities for process improvement, cost control, and increased customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with agricultural equipment and/or heavy machinery
- Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a service, maintenance, or dealership environment preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to lead teams, manage customer relationships, and work cross-functionally
- Proficient in computer systems, business software, and Microsoft applications
- Flexible work schedule to support business demands
