SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for learning all aspects of a production facility by working alongside team members to understand how to promote a safe working environment and produce a quality product in a timely manner. Responsibilities include observing and learning how to ensure assigned areas are operating efficiently and producing at optimal capacity while maintaining high quality standards.
The trainee will observe and learn how to collaborate with Maintenance and other resources to ensure equipment is operating properly and in compliance with government regulations. The role also includes learning how to provide first aid in the absence of on-site medical personnel. The trainee will assist supervisors and/or managers as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
By observing and learning these responsibilities, the trainee will be prepared to assume supervisory responsibility over a designated area. The trainee must develop an understanding of how Accounting, Human Resources, Food Safety and Quality Assurance, and Production functions interact within the facility.

Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience:
