IT Change Enablement Manager
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Change Enablement Manager to join our Service Management team within the Network, Collaboration & Observability Services organization. Responsibilities
- Lead and support the end-to-end Change Enablement practice, including reviewing and assessing change requests, coordinating change approvals, and ensuring changes adhere to established policies and procedures.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for each Change request within our service management tool, including implementation plans, approvals, and outcomes, ensuring a clear audit trail for compliance purposes.
- Collaborate with technical teams to assess and mitigate potential risks associated with proposed changes, ensuring minimal impact on operations and system stability.
- Facilitate effective communication between IT teams, stakeholders, and business units regarding upcoming changes, potential impacts, and scheduled maintenance windows.
- Coordinate and schedule change implementations, representing our organization during Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings as needed to ensure alignment and approval.
- Ensure that appropriate testing and validation procedures are carried out, verifying that changes are implemented accurately and meet quality standards.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews to assess the success of changes, identify any issues, and gather feedback for continuous improvement of the Change Enablement practice.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in IT Change Enablement
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles, particularly the Change Enablement practice.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability to collaborate efficiently in globally dispersed teams and organizations.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
Preferred
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
- Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform, specifically the Change Management module.
- Understanding of Configuration Management process (CMDB)
- A basic understanding of network infrastructure components (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
