We are hiring a CDL Driver – Ranch Hand to join our team in Melstone, MT (about 84 miles northeast of Billings). In this role you will be supporting daily ranching, livestock care, irrigation, equipment operation, and commercial hauling.

What you will be doing:
- Manage approximately 300 acres of flood irrigation, utilizing dams, siphons, and pipeline systems
- Provide year-round care for 150 cow/calf pairs, including feeding, health monitoring, calving assistance, fencing, and general livestock management
- Operate a semi-truck for day trips hauling cattle, feed, hay, and other farm and agriculture materials
- Load, secure, and transport livestock and commodities using appropriate trailers
- Operate a silage truck during chopping season
- Drive or learn to operate a feed truck as needed
- Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on farm and ranch equipment
- Assist with spring and summer farming operations, including planting and harvesting
- Follow all DOT, safety, and farm & agriculture operational requirements
This job is for you if you have:
- Valid CDL (Class A preferred)
- Experience hauling livestock and handling cattle, including calving
- Experience with flood irrigation systems preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to maintain and repair equipment
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
