Position Summary
Lennard Ag Company is seeking a
Bilingual HR Generalist (English/Spanish) in Howe, Indiana to support our growing, multi-state agricultural operations. This is a highly organized, detail-oriented role ideal for someone who can balance office-based administrative work with hands-on housing coordination, while serving as a key support resource for our seasonal and year-round workforce.
Key Responsibilities
HR Generalist & H-2A Coordination
- Serve as the primary H-2A Coordinator for Lennard Ag Company and affiliated entities
- Coordinate H-2A recruitment efforts with recruiters in South Africa, Mexico, and the U.S.
- Review and pre-screen H-2A applications; schedule interviews with Farm Managers
- Coordinate accepted candidates through the full H-2A visa process, ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy
- Manage and track required H-2A documentation, including passports, visas, international driver's licenses, and I-94 records.
- Oversee H-2A contracts, extensions, and renewals
- Coordinate international and domestic travel:
- Work with travel agents in South Africa and the U.S.
- Arrange round-trip flights and adjust travel plans as needed
- Manage and maintain H-2A visa cards and related paperwork
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and program-specific H-2A regulations
Housing Coordination
- Manage approximately 30 migrant housing units across 7 locations for Lennard Ag Company and S&L
- Coordinate housing leases, move-in and move-out processes, housing assignments, and movement records.
- Conduct and coordinate state and local housing inspections and housing orientations for migrant workers, including rules and expectations.
- Maintain detailed housing logs and compliance documentation
- Coordinate housing repairs, maintenance, cleanings, and unit turnarounds
- Order housing-related supplies and furnishings as needed
- Serve as a point of contact for housing-related issues and resolutions
HR Team Support
- Provide backup support to the HR team as needed, including payroll assistance, timecard review, and new employee orientation and onboarding support
- Assist with general HR administrative duties during peak seasonal periods
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bilingual - English and Spanish (required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions
- Standard hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday
- Office-based role with regular interaction across departments and locations
- Work environment requires flexibility and responsiveness to spontaneous workforce and housing needs
