This position requires good mechanical skills to handle maintenance and repair of Farm, Truck and Heavy Equipment, along with a willingness to operate equipment when needed. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, adaptable, and a team player who can contribute in multiple areas of farm operations.\r\n\r\nBecause of this growth, Current Shop Manager needs to step back from day-to-day shop work. They are now looking for a strong maintenance mechanic who would:\r\n- Start hands-on as a mechanic\r\n- Work directly with Shop Manager to learn their systems, work orders, and asset management\r\n- Eventually take over shop management responsibilities\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on agricultural, truck, heavy, and light equipment\r\n- Diagnose and repair gas and diesel motors\r\n- Order parts and help maintain an organized inventory of parts and supplies\r\n- Conduct daily inspections and preventive upkeep to keep equipment in optimal working order\r\n- Operate various farm and heavy equipment during busy seasons or as required\r\n- Work collaboratively with farm staff to ensure smooth, efficient operations\r\n\r\n\r\nQualifications:\r\n- Proven mechanical and maintenance skills with the ability to diagnose and repair issues independently\r\n- Experience with gas and diesel engines; small engine experience is a plus\r\n- Knowledge of agricultural, heavy and truck equipment operation and maintenance\r\n- Ability to source, order, and track parts inventory\r\n- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail\r\n- Flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist where needed\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nBENEFITS:\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nNice House, Benefits Negotiable\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
