Welcome to Gary Swede Farms! We are a locally rooted family farm looking to add to our team with an experienced Driver to haul agricultural commodities, farm materials and equipment. Based in Pavilion, NY, we pride ourselves on our family-first values, strong work ethic, and commitment to dependable service. Essential Duties
- Comply with all Company, State and Federal rules, regulations and policies
- Operate semi truck/trailer in a safe and professional manner
- Maintain clean truck and trailer inside and out
- Monitor vehicles for regular maintenance/service needs
- Perform routine maintenance including, but not limited to, daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, lights, fluids, etc
- Assist with repairs and maintenance when needed on the road and/or in the shop
- Driving tank trailers, dump trailers, hopper bottom trailers and flatbed trailers to haul grain, silage, manure, vegetables and salt
- May work in non-trucking duties as directed
Job Requirements
- Class A CDL w/tank endorsement
- Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screen
- Ability to perform maintenance on trucks
- Must be willing to work extra hours during busy seasons including weekends and/or holidays
