Position Overview
The Veterinary Nurse/Technician plays a critical role in patient care, client communication, and daily hospital operations. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while supporting doctors, fellow team members, and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to hospitalized and outpatient patients
- Assist veterinarians with exams, diagnostics, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, radiographs, lab work, and anesthesia monitoring
- Accurately prepare and maintain medical records and treatment sheets
- Ensure all charges are entered and invoices are completed prior to appointment completion
- Follow established SOPs for safety, workflow, controlled substances, and patient care
- Educate clients on medications, treatment plans, and preventative care
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients and team members
Qualifications
- Minimum 2+ years of veterinary technician/nursing experience (required)
- Veterinary Technician/Nurse degree or certification preferred (LVT/CVT/RVT), but not required with equivalent experience
- Strong anesthesia and surgical support skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain calm under pressure
- Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to high standards of care
- Comfortable working within structured protocols and SOPs

Schedule
- Full-time and part-time opportunities available
