Responsibilities include: \tManage the month end process from reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations through preparing financial statements and analysis \tEnsure month-end and year-end financial reports are completed on time and accurately according to generally accepted accounting principles \tComplete monthly accruals on different areas of the business \tWork cooperatively with managers and support them with their accounting, budgeting, cost control and financial analysis needs \tAnalyze and generate financial reports for management in a timely and accurate manner \tContribute to the annual business planning and budgeting process \tCreate efficiencies and improve processes \tProvide financial analysis and advice to Senior Management \tLead the preparation of the annual audit file and year-end reconciliations and coordinate with external auditors in the examination of the Company’s financial statements \tComplete financial projects as necessary Skills & Qualifications Requirements \t5+ years of accounting experience \tPrefer CPA designation \tAbility to meet deadlines, sometimes under pressure \tUse teamwork skills to work effectively with all departments \tPossess knowledge and leadership skills to ensure Finance department is able to adapt to meet any changes in company policies and procedures \tDemonstrate clear and respectful communication skills \tAbility to maintain confidentiality when working with information, files and records Position is based in northern Iowa and will pay $95,000 to $120,000+.
