This is a full-time position for an experienced Client Services Representative/Veterinary Assistant.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Work experience as a receptionist or front desk staff strongly desirable
- Expected to be technically proficient - able to schedule appointments, manage patient records, and client communications through our veterinary software
- Coordinate with our veterinary team to ensure efficient patient flow
- Strong communication skills - expected to greet and communicate with clients in a friendly and welcoming demeanor
- Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to work well within a team and contribute to a positive work culture
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed
- Preferable to have pre-existing knowledge of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and protocols
- Honours the confidentiality of patient and client information
- A compassionate nature with the ability to empathize and interact effectively with clients and their pets
