Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join a welcoming veterinary practice located in Knypersley, Staffordshire. This leadership position offers the opportunity to guide the clinical direction of the clinic while continuing to provide excellent care to patients and their owners.
Working in a well-equipped practice with digital radiography, dental imaging, ultrasound and in-house laboratory equipment, the successful candidate will manage a varied small animal caseload. The role also includes mentoring colleagues, supporting clinical standards across the practice and collaborating closely with the wider veterinary network that provides access to advanced diagnostic facilities through a nearby 24-hour hospital.
Qualifications Needed:
- MRCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon eligible to practise in the United Kingdom
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or Veterinary Science from a recognised institution
- Experience within small animal clinical practice with strong surgical competence
- Ability to mentor team members and contribute to clinical leadership
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
