Job Description: Our client is seeking a Small Animal Associate Veterinarian to join a well-established regional veterinary clinic located in Manjimup in the Southern Forests region of Western Australia. The clinic serves a loyal regional client base and provides a wide range of veterinary services for companion animals. Veterinarians in this role manage varied medical and surgical cases including preventative healthcare, diagnostic workups, routine surgery, and emergency presentations. The practice utilises modern veterinary technology to support efficient diagnostics and patient care.

Responsibilities:
- Provide consultations and preventative healthcare services for companion animals
- Perform routine soft tissue surgeries and small animal procedures
- Assess urgent medical presentations and manage emergency cases
- Utilise imaging and laboratory diagnostics to investigate medical conditions
- Develop treatment plans and communicate clearly with pet owners
- Work collaboratively with veterinary nurses and support staff
- Maintain accurate clinical records using modern veterinary software
Qualifications Needed:
- BVSc, BVMS, DVM or equivalent veterinary degree
- Eligibility for veterinary registration in Western Australia
- Confidence with small animal consultations and routine surgery
- Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work effectively within a busy clinical team
