Job Highlights
Lead, manage, and develop operational teams responsible for specific Transport Service functions (including Complaint Management and Freight Cost Auditing/Settlement via Team Leads) and India-specific Freight Settlement tasks (via direct reports). Ensure efficient and compliant service delivery, drive continuous process improvement, manage team performance and development, and foster effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives:
- Provide leadership, coaching, performance management, and career development support to direct reporting team
- Oversee the operational performance of the teams managed by the Team Leads, ensuring delivery against KPIs/SLAs for functions such as IQOS Transport Complaint Management, EMEA Freight Cost Auditing & Settlement, and India & Singapore Freight Cost Auditing & Settlement.
- Manage and oversee the team responsible for India-specific freight settlement activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, compliance with local regulations, and adherence to internal controls.
- Act as the primary subject matter expert and lead for cross-functional projects impacting freight audit, settlement, or complaint management systems, processes, or policies Manage relationships and communication with key internal stakeholders .
- Directly carry out negotiation and resolution of select, high-value or precedential disputes with key carriers or vendors, and establish frameworks for strategic vendor performance reviews beyond routine operational interactions.
- Identify, initiate, and lead process improvement projects across all managed functions to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, improve accuracy, and optimize workflows (e.g., automation, standardization).
- Monitor operational metrics, prepare regular performance reports, analyze trends, identify risks/opportunities, and present findings/recommendations to senior management.
Experience / Skills
- Specific Education : Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field.
- Work Experience : 5 - 10 years
- Special Skills : Proven experience in dispute resolution and transport cost analysis. Strong organizational and communication skills. Experience in leading a team. Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field. Experience in SAP / ERP system specifically with TM or similar modules
