SUMMARY:Absence of any related duties or functions in this document does not imply that incumbent may be exempt from assignments required to support production.The primary responsibility of this position is to perform checks to ensure the chicks production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pull sample of eggs from machine
- Do internal egg temperature
- Do Egg Breakout and report fertility
- Count chicks off of production line
- Watch machines and record information
- Conduct egg pack assessments
- Conduct Chick assessments
- Conduct water loss assessments
- Record data in Mtech and MyQM
- Backup night shift personnel
- Backup embrex and spray vac mixers
Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by Hatchery Manager.

- Good Hand-Eye Coordination

LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIRED:
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Continuously:standing, walking
- Frequently:lifting, turning, twisting, bending, squatting, pushing, grasping, kneeling, reach forward, pulling stretching.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Hot temperatures
- Wet floors
- Ear Plugs
PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
SAFETY FACTORS TO BE AWARE OF:
- Know how to use and locate the emergency stop switch.
- Know location of primary and secondary emergency exits.
- Know and use proper lifting techniques.
