At Nutreco,TrouwNutrition,we are accelerating our transition toward a globally led organization with stronger central governance across our product portfolio. As part of this transformation, we are creating a new role: Global Category Leader – Mixed Products & Young Animal Feed (YAF).
This role willestablishglobal ownershipand governanceover two diverseandstrategicproduct areas: Mixed Products (including premix,farmmineraland concentrates) and Young Animal Feed (YAF).In addition, you will define and drive global category strategies, ensuring alignment with overall businessandfinancialsobjectives. Establish governance frameworks, processes, and guidelines to create consistency across regions and business units, while bringing structure to a fragmented portfolio through harmonization of products, suppliers, and value propositions.
You will lead the optimization and rationalization of the portfoliowhileshifting the category from volume driven selling to outcome‑based value creation. Strongchangemanagement mindset is expected andinfluential skills for thecoordination of support functionslikeprocurement,R&D,Nutrition & FormulationIntelligence,digital andcommercialteams,to strengthenTrouwNutritionbundledpositioning andvalue delivery(including products anddigitalservices).
Reporting to theProduct Marketing Director,the Category Lead for Mixed Products & YAFis responsible forturning a complex portfolio into a focused, value‑drivenglobal category, with clear strategic choices, disciplinedgovernanceandstrong regional execution.
The role alsoincludesmanagement of a small team of product managers.
This role requires a strategic yet hands-on leader who canoperateeffectively in a complex, evolving environment.
The successful candidate will bring structure, strategy, and governance to these categories, driving alignment across business units and regions.
Proven experience in category management, productmanagement, withinanimal nutrition, feed, or livestock industries.
