Representing over 1,300 family farms in the province, CFO is responsible for a growing, profitable and sustainable chicken industry.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe Business Services Associate at CFO works with the CFO team, farmers and stakeholders to provide technical and administrative support from our corporate office located in Guelph.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nThe role requires agile thinking, proven problem-solving, and a keen ability to prioritize. The role will work collaboratively with all CFO functional groups, and an interest in comprehensively learning about the broiler industry and the Ontario agriculture sector is desirable.\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nKEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\r\nFarmer and Stakeholder Support\r\n\r\n\r\n\tBy phone, email and in-person conversation, you will provide administrative support and customer service to farmers and stakeholders, assisting them to conduct their chicken business\r\n\tWorking with the CFO Communications team, you will disseminate CFO information and industry updates, and provide in-person support as required\r\n\tIn collaboration with technical staff, you will establish goals and objectives for system improvements and upgrades\r\n\tYou will act as a liaison with the various CFO departments to resolve farmer and stakeholder issues\r\n\r\n\r\nAssist with Corporate Projects\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssist with various strategic projects outlined by the Strategic Plan at the direction of the Manager, Customer Relations\r\n\r\n\r\nFront Line Staffing\r\n\r\n\r\n\tProvide front line / Tier 1 support to a wide range of stakeholders that contact CFO’s head office on the main reception line\r\n\tAid in the rollout of the updated farmer portal, pulling reports and monitoring coverage as necessary\r\n\tProvide support for specific farmer segments as necessary, facilitating their business needs\r\n\tSupport the administration of the CFO Cares: Farmers to Food Banks program\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nQUALIFICATIONS\r\nEducation\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCollege Diploma or Degree in Office Business Administration, Agriculture or Commerce Experience\r\n\r\n\r\nExperience\r\n\r\n\r\n\t3-4 years of experience in customer service, program support, customer relationship management, administration, and project support\r\n\r\n\r\nSkills and Abilities\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAdvanced Microsoft Office Suite\r\n\tData entry/program monitoring\r\n\tProject management ticketing system\r\n\tCustomer relationship management database experience\r\n\tMultiline telephone systems such as RingCentral\r\n\r\n\r\nCompetencies\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCustomer-focused service and support with an ability to understand customer needs\r\n\tStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively communicate across various channels – phone, email, chat functions\r\n\tProblem-solver who takes initiative and enjoys interacting with others\r\n\tAbility to balance multiple priorities within deadlines\r\n\tWillingness to learn more about various computer systems and the chicken sector in general\r\n\tDevelop and maintain working relationships in a cross-functional environment\r\n\tExperience and/or understanding of the agricultural sector would be an asset\r\n\tBilingual French Speaking would be an asset\r\n\r\n\r\n \r\n\r\nCFO's Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion:\r\nAt CFO, we are committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting our industry and the communities where we live and work.
