Bells Animal Clinic is seeking an outgoing, responsible individual that loves dogs and cats to join our technician staff.

Job Description:

Prep and assist in diagnostic, medical, and surgical procedures.
Preform laboratory test and radiographs.
Operate and maintain hospital equipment - IV pumps, EKG, scales, laboratory machines, anesthetic monitors and machines.
Assist veterinarian in anesthetizing animals and monitoring during surgeries.
Properly restrain/handle dogs and cats of all sizes and temperaments.
Fill prescriptions and administer medications.
Pull blood - cephalic and jugular.
Place IV and urinary catheters.
Interact with clients and animals while collecting medical information.
Maintain cleanliness in exam rooms and cages after each patient.
Maintain a clean and sanitary surgery area and equipment.
Communicate and approach job duties in a mature manner.

Job Requirements:

Able to handle all sizes of animals and temperaments in a calm and professional manner.
Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Demonstrate a strong work ethic, dependability, patience, and communicate effectively.
Expected to work some weekends and holidays - no exceptions.
Degree or certification not required but preferred.
Work experience preferred but not required - will train.
Must be 18 years or older.
