Bracebridge Animal Hospital is a small, close-knit veterinary team dedicated to providing high-quality medical care with compassion and professionalism. Our team consists of 3 Doctors, 3 RVTs, 3 Veterinary Assistants, and 2 Receptionists, all working together in a facility in the heart of Bracebridge.

Our clinic operates year-round:

Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Every other Saturday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

Position Details

Job Type: Full-time (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Hours: 32-40 hours per week
Wage: $21.00-$23.00 per hour (based on experience)

We are currently hiring for a Veterinary Receptionist. This position is a fixed-term contract for the purpose of providing coverage during a maternity leave with the opportunity to become full-time continued employment beyond the maternity leave period.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients and answer phones in a friendly, professional manner
Respond to emails and client inquiries promptly
Assist DVMs and RVTs during appointments and treatments as needed
Perform light cleaning and maintain clinic cleanliness
Support animal husbandry and patient care when required
Prepare exam rooms and maintain an organized workspace
Stock supplies and monitor inventory
Process payments and complete administrative tasks
Fill prescriptions under supervision
Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment
