We are expanding our team and are interested in hiring a candidate who enjoys physical work, being on the water, and bettering local waterways.

Essential Functions

Count and sort oysters for market
Mechanically splitting & grading oysters
Building, repairing, and installing farm gear
Maintaining farm equipment

Competency

Must be able to swim.
Must be able to lift, carry, and move at least 50 lbs

Work environment

Must be willing to work outside and on the water
Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions
Must be able to work with hand and power tools
Must be comfortable working in dirty environments

PPE is provided.

DISCLAIMER: Cuts and scrapes from barnacles or damaged gear are not uncommon and pose a significant risk for individuals with autoimmune issues. Tetanus vaccination is recommended for all employees.

Must be comfortable with regular bending and lifting of heavy objects
Must be able to swim and may be asked to work in the water

Position type and expected hours of work

Full-time position
Monday through Friday hours vary with season
Overtime is available and occasionally requested to meet crop management deadlines.

Preferred education and experience

High school diploma is preferred but not required
Experience in agriculture, marine aquaculture, or commercial fishing is preferred but not required.

Commercial boating experience totaling one year or greater
