Funded TAE qualification: We will cover all costs for your TAE studies.

Eligibility Criteria To apply, you must meet the following requirements:

Be a graduate of NITA.
Have a minimum of 2 years’ industry experience post-graduation in either Housekeeping, Front Office, or Food & Beverage. Preference will be given to candidates with expertise in Housekeeping and Front Office, or experience across all three areas.
Hold a valid Class C Australian Driver’s Licence (desirable)
Demonstrate the ability and desire to undertake a TAE qualification to become a VET Trainer.

Key Duties of a Trainer & Assessor (once you have completed your course)

Train and assess the current Certificate III in Tourism and Certificate III in Hospitality to Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements
Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the NITA program under the direction of the NITA Operations Manager
Maintain student records to ASQA accreditation and regulatory standards and requirements
