Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. Your expertise will help ensure the health and well-being of pets, while also educating pet owners about proper care and treatment options. This position requires a strong commitment to animal welfare and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries in pets.
Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care.
Administer vaccinations and medications to animals.
Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
Valid veterinary license in the state of practice.
Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry.
Proficient in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and animal restraint.
Experience with animal catheterization and basic surgical procedures is preferred.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to animal care.
Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields is a plus.
