We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality medical care to a variety of animals. Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
- Diagnose and treat various medical conditions and injuries in pets.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Administer vaccinations and medications to animals.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuing education.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license in the state of practice.
- Strong knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and husbandry.
- Proficient in animal handling techniques, including dog handling and animal restraint.
- Experience with animal catheterization and basic surgical procedures is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with pet owners and team members.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a compassionate approach to animal care.
- Previous experience in pet grooming or related fields is a plus.
