Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal care and welfare, with the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of animal health issues. This role requires excellent communication skills, both with pet owners and team members, as well as a thorough understanding of veterinary practices and procedures.

Duties

Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
Perform surgeries and administer treatments as necessary, including animal catheterization.
Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and health check-ups.
Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting findings, treatments, and progress.
Educate pet owners on proper pet care, nutrition, grooming, and preventive health measures.
Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Experience

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited veterinary school.
Experience in animal handling and knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and critical care is essential.
Familiarity with veterinary terminology is required for effective communication within the team.
Previous experience in equine care or pet grooming is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners about their pets' health needs.
