Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to a variety of animals, assisting veterinarians in clinical procedures, and ensuring the well-being of our patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong animal handling skills and a solid understanding of veterinary practices.

Responsibilities

Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
Perform routine laboratory tests and analyze samples.
Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
Monitor animal health and behavior, providing critical care when necessary.
Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
Ensure a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and proper sanitation protocols.
Educate pet owners on animal husbandry, dental care, and general health maintenance.
Handle animals safely and effectively in various settings, including kennels and during transport.
Utilize veterinary terminology accurately in all communications.

Experience
Candidates should have experience or knowledge in the following areas:

Animal husbandry practices
Veterinary critical care protocols
Dental terminology related to veterinary medicine
Animal catheterization techniques
Laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary diagnostics
Aseptic technique for surgical environments
Kennel management practices
Proficiency with veterinary terminology
