Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in animal care and handling, with the ability to provide exceptional support in a veterinary setting. This role requires a blend of technical skills, knowledge of veterinary practices, and a genuine love for animals.

Duties
As a Veterinary Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that contribute to the health and well-being of animals under our care. Your duties will include:

Assisting veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
Performing laboratory tests and analyzing results
Administering medications and vaccinations as directed
Monitoring animal vital signs and providing critical care when necessary
Handling and restraining animals safely during procedures
Maintaining accurate medical records and documentation
Educating pet owners on proper animal care and post-operative instructions
Utilizing aseptic techniques to ensure cleanliness in all procedures
Performing dental cleanings and understanding dental terminology

Experience
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in veterinary settings, with specific skills including:

Veterinary technician experience with knowledge of veterinary terminology
Experience in animal husbandry, including dog handling
Familiarity with laboratory procedures and equipment, including X-ray technology
Understanding of animal physiology, anatomy, and catheterization techniques
