Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Veterinarian specializing in Small Animal care to join our veterinary team. Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat a variety of small animal health issues, including dogs and cats
Perform routine examinations, vaccinations, and wellness checks
Conduct surgical procedures with precision and adherence to aseptic techniques
Administer medications, anesthesia, and interpret laboratory tests as needed
Handle animal restraint safely during examinations and procedures
Educate pet owners on animal health, nutrition, and preventive care strategies
Assist with emergency critical care cases when necessary
Maintain accurate medical records in compliance with veterinary standards
Perform animal husbandry tasks such as grooming, feeding, and general care
Utilize veterinary terminology effectively in communication with team members and pet owners

Requirements

Veterinary degree from an accredited institution with valid licensure to practice as a veterinarian
Proven veterinary experience with small animals; additional experience in critical care or laboratory work is a plus
Strong animal handling skills including dog handling, animal restraint, and pet grooming
Knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and veterinary terminology
Experience with animal catheterization, aseptic techniques, and laboratory procedures
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining compassion for animals and clients
Excellent communication skills for educating pet owners and collaborating with team members
Prior experience with equine or laboratory animals is advantageous but not required

Pay: $95,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
