This role blends hands-on patient care with client-facing reception support and is vital to the daily flow of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities

Greet clients in person and over the phone in a friendly, professional manner
Schedule appointments and manage appointment flow
Answer phones, manage messages, and direct inquiries appropriately
Process payments, invoices, and client accounts
Maintain accurate client and patient records
Provide empathetic support to clients during emotional or stressful situations
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area
Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff

Qualifications

Previous experience in reception, customer service, or a veterinary clinic is an asset
Strong communication and organizational skills
Calm, compassionate, and professional demeanor
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Dependable, detail-oriented, and team-focused
Commitment to excellent client service and ethical standards
Equine experience is an asset
Experience using Idexx Neo Practice Management Software is an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 44 per week

Experience:

Veterinary: 1 year (preferred)
