Responsibilities

Assist veterinary staff with animal restraint, medication administration, and basic medical procedures to ensure safe and effective treatment.
Handle animals including dogs and cats, applying proper animal husbandry and handling techniques.
Support kennel operations by cleaning, feeding, monitoring health status, and maintaining a clean environment for all animals.
Prepare examination rooms, assist during surgeries or diagnostics using aseptic techniques, and manage laboratory samples with accuracy.
Provide front desk support by scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and communicating with pet owners professionally.
Assist with laboratory testing, and understand veterinary terminology to support clinical workflow.
Maintain detailed documentation of treatments, medications administered, and observations in compliance with clinic protocols.

Skills

Proven kennel experience combined with animal husbandry knowledge to ensure optimal care standards.
Veterinary technician or veterinary clinic experience demonstrating familiarity with clinical procedures and equipment.
Strong animal handling skills with dogs and cats.
Knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, physiology, and aseptic technique essential for supporting medical procedures.
Ability to administer medications accurately and perform animal restraint confidently during examinations or treatments.
Laboratory experience related to sample collection or diagnostic testing enhances your contribution to clinical diagnostics.
Excellent communication skills for front desk duties and client interactions; compassionate pet care approach required.
