Townsgate Pet Hospital is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our clinic. This position is primarily focused on client service and front-desk responsibilities, with the opportunity to receive training for limited veterinary assistant duties.

Position Overview:
This role is primarily for a Veterinary Receptionist, but we’re happy to train the right candidate to assist with basic veterinary assistant tasks when needed. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and enjoys working with both people and animals in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:

Monday – Friday: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month: 9:00 AM – 12:30 PM (availability required)

Key Responsibilities:

Greeting clients and checking them in for appointments
Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing reminders
Processing payments and maintaining accurate client records
Providing excellent customer service and clear communication
Maintaining a clean and organized reception area
Assisting with basic veterinary assistant duties as trained (e.g., preparing exam rooms, handling supplies)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a veterinary or medical office preferred but not required
Strong customer service and communication skills
Comfortable working with both dogs and cats
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask
Reliable, friendly, and eager to learn
English proficiency required

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay: $20.80 – $27.00 per hour (DOE)
