We are a full care equine veterinary facility seeking a person to work in the barn. This is a full time salary paid position that will include 5 days a week and working weekends and some holidays. Benefits start after 90 days (insurance) and then at one year (paid vacation, 401K ). This person shall be responsible for feeding horses 2-3 times daily, stall cleaning and grounds care along with other equine duties . Horse/ Agricultural experience is required since you will be working directly with horses daily. We do require this person to be able to do heavy lifting of at minimum 50 lbs and to have a valid drivers license. Some of the responsibilities are listed below
- Stall Cleaning
- Horse Feeding
- Turn out horses
- Horse hauling/ Shipping
- Operate large equipment- tractor etc
- Property maintenance- mowing, weed eating, fence repair etc
- Cleaning and Maintaining barns, equipment and paddocks
