We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health status.
- Diagnose and treat illnesses, injuries, and other health issues in pets.
- Perform surgical procedures as needed, ensuring adherence to aseptic techniques.
- Administer vaccinations and medications according to established protocols.
- Provide guidance to pet owners on nutrition, grooming, and overall animal care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Requirements
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid veterinary license to practice in the state of employment.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal husbandry, and critical care practices.
- Experience with dog handling and general animal handling techniques.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary diagnostics.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with pet owners and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards animals and their owners, demonstrating empathy in all interactions.
- Previous experience in pet grooming is a plus but not required.

Pay: $135,000.00 - $165,000.00 per year
