You can make a difference.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tThe primary responsibilities of this role, North America Equipment Associate II North America Field Testing and Pipeline Delivery (Whitestown, Indiana) are:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tYOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tJoin our team and enhance preventative maintenance (PM), in-field repairs, logistics, and inventory of the North America Field Testing and Pipeline Delivery (NAFTPD) centralized fleet.\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tCoordinates and performs preventative maintenance, and resolves complex electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs on agricultural research equipment, including tractors, planters, and harvesters;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWorks with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and field operations to oversee and execute equipment preventative maintenance, Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC), and seasonal fleet deployment strategies;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tResponsible for inventory management, invoicing, and data management associated with PM and QAQC;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tThrives in agile environments, drives high-quality deliverables, demonstrates effective communication across teams, and shows initiative in problem-solving with peers;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tEnsures safe and efficient operations in alignment with Sustainability Safety Health & Environment (SSHE), Stewardship requirements, and Business Code of Conduct and Ethics Standards;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tLeverages digital and mechanical platforms to collect, analyze, and deliver data on agronomic traits throughout the growing season;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDevelops cross-functional workflow plans, utilizes technical and digital tools, and communicates plans and status updates;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tLeads equipment fleet coordination and logistics; Executes field research equipment training and builds supporting documentation;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tBuilds and leverages networks across diverse teams and functions, as well as establishes and maintains partnerships in the local community;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDrives greater than 5,000 business miles annually in a shared company supplied vehicle.\r\n\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tWHO YOU ARE\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tBayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\tRequired Qualifications:\r\n\r\n\t \r\n\r\n\t\r\n\t\tMinimum of High School Diploma or equivalent;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tExperience testing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office suite;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tWillingness to learn and operate research agriculture equipment, including precision agriculture technology;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility and willingness to travel independently in North America up to 25% of the time particularly during peak seasons, including overnights;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated track record of safety, quality, and process improvements; Demonstrated flexibility in an agile work environment;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tDemonstrated experience working collaboratively in cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to achieve common goals;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to work in extreme temperatures for extended periods, including additional shifts and weekends;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to safely lift up to 50 lbs.;\r\n\t\r\n\t\tValid driver's license (Driving record (MVR) will be reviewed and must meet guidelines based on the company's Risk Screening for Hiring Drivers);\r\n\t\r\n\t\tAbility to obtain appropriate driver s license for medium to heavy vehicle operation (>10,000 lbs.
