About the Role
We are seeking two Remote Veterinary Client Service Representatives (CSRs) to join our growing team—one based on the East Coast and one on the West Coast.
Our CSRs are the first point of contact for clients and a key support for our veterinarians. This role blends customer care with operational support, ensuring that appointments run smoothly, clients feel supported, and our mobile doctors can focus on delivering care.
Responsibilities
Client Support & Scheduling
- Serve as the primary point of contact for pet owners and referring clinics.
- Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments in our veterinary software.
- Assist clients with questions about services, records, and appointment preparation.
- Request, receive, and organize medical records and documents.
- Provide warm, empathetic customer service that reflects Homeward Vet’s mission and values.
Administrative & Team Support
- Manage and respond to phone calls, emails, and messages with accuracy and professionalism.
- Support billing processes by taking payments, issuing receipts, and assisting with basic inquiries.
- Communicate effectively with doctors and teammates using internal systems (Slack, email, project management tools).
- Ensure accurate data entry and record-keeping in practice management systems.
- Help maintain client communications including reminders, follow-ups, and service updates.

Education & Experience
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a veterinary or medical setting required.
- Veterinary CSR or technician background strongly preferred.

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
