Job Overview
The Cultivation Technician plays a vital role in the agricultural sector, responsible for the hands-on care and management. This position requires a blend of technical skills and practical experience in horticulture. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of plant growth, animal husbandry, and equipment operation, ensuring that cultivation processes are efficient and effective.

Duties

Oversee daily cultivation tasks, including planting, watering, and harvesting crops.
Maintain greenhouse environments to optimize plant growth through proper irrigation and climate control.
Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including repairs and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Monitor plant health and growth patterns, applying knowledge of horticulture to improve yields.
Assist with heavy lifting tasks as needed during planting or harvesting seasons.

Skills

Familiarity with irrigation systems to ensure optimal water supply for crops.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the demands of the role.
Experience with horticulture practices, including growing techniques specific to various crops.
Knowledge of basic math for measuring inputs and outputs related to cultivation activities.
