Job Summary
We are a fast paced 2.5 doctor practice seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. This position is part-time with the possibility of becoming full-time in the future. Wage is DOE with an increase after 90 day probationary period and annually. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and their pets, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations of our veterinary practice. You will play a crucial role in ensuring a welcoming environment for both pets and their owners, while also supporting the veterinary staff with administrative tasks.

Responsibilities

Greet clients and their pets in a friendly and professional manner.
Knowledge of veterinary terminology.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar efficiently.
Process payments accurately.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date.
Assist with animal handling and restraint from time to time.
Provide information to clients regarding pet care, treatments, and services offered.
Manage incoming calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism.
Support veterinary staff with administrative tasks as needed.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the reception area.

*This position is part-time consisting of all day Mondays, Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon. There is a small possibility of the position eventually turning into full time.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
