We are hiring an
Agronomy Account Manager to join their team in Adell, Wisconsin. In this role, you’ll work directly with growers to deliver agronomic recommendations, manage crop input strategies, and support the sale of crop nutrients and crop protection products. You’ll serve as a trusted advisor throughout the growing season, helping producers make informed decisions that improve crop outcomes and profitability.
Your responsibilities in this role:
- Manage a portfolio of farm accounts, building strong, long-term relationships.
- Provide agronomic guidance on crop nutrients and crop protection products.
- Develop and present customized input plans based on soil testing, field history, and production goals.
- Monitor field conditions and product performance throughout the season.
- Collaborate with internal agronomy, operations, and applicator teams to deliver timely service.
- Stay up to date on agronomic trends, new technologies, and product developments.
- Maintain accurate account records, input plans, and sales activity in CRM system.
- Participate in grower meetings, field days, and educational events
- Collaborate and engage with fellow team members in support of Adell Cooperative’s Co-op Complete member engagement strategy.
- Responsible for understanding and fostering an environment of compliance with all state and federal regulations pertain
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or associate’s degree in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in agronomy sales, crop input advising, or a related field
- A farmer-first mindset and strong passion for agronomy and crop production
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with a solutions-based approach
- Ability to analyze data, make agronomic recommendations, and build trust with growers
- Self-motivated and able to work independently while staying connected to a team
- Proficiency in ag technology tools and CRM systems
