Survey Management Solutions is expanding, and we’re looking for a Survey Assistant to join our Adelaide team. This role offers the chance to be part of a collaborative and innovative company, contributing to a variety of dynamic and rewarding projects.
Any given day may see you…
- Monitoring Setup & Calibration – Assist with installing new monitoring points and complete baseline measurements
- Monitoring Observations – Assist completing settlement observations throughout the project – Using Digital Level
- Monitoring Observations – Assist complete traverses and observations for monitoring prisms – Using Total Station
- Collaboration with Project Team – Work closely with the project team to stay ahead of project requirements
- Technology & Equipment Management – Assist operate and maintain advanced survey equipment, ensuring all tools and devices are in good working condition and compliant with relevant standards
- Compliance & Safety – Ensure all work procedures comply with project/state requirements
Here’s what we are looking for…
A person with survey experience that is wanting to become part of a new and developing team in emerging markets.
They must:
- Hold relevant qualifications in either Survey, Spatial Science and/or Geometrics.
- Experience with Total Stations, GPS Equipment, Digital Levelling and Survey Computation Software
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Understanding or exposure to Civil Engineering or Construction
- Understanding of survey monitoring procedures
- Sound knowledge in Workplace Health and Safety practices
- Team oriented but also self-motivated
- Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and high-quality outcomes
