This facility manages some of the industry's top donor cows, typically caring for approximately 100 donors annually for embryo collection either for freezing or immediate implantation into recipient cows.\r\n\r\nKey Responsibilities:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAssist with the care and management of donor cows in collaboration with the Donor Cow Manager.\r\n\tFollow precise protocols for feed rations and vaccination schedules.\r\n\tMonitor cattle daily for health, well-being, and signs of illness or distress.\r\n\tCollect embryos and prepare them for freezing or fresh transfer into recipients.\r\n\tOperate equipment such as loader tractors and 4-wheelers.\r\n\tHelp maintain fences, facilities, vehicles, and machinery as needed.\r\n\tKeep accurate records related to feeding, health care, and embryo collection.\r\n\tInteract professionally with clients and handle their cattle with care and respect.\r\n\r\n\r\nRequirements:\r\n\r\n\r\n\tKnowledge of cattle health and behavior.\r\n\tAbility to follow specific feeding and health treatment protocols.\r\n\tEquipment operation skills, particularly with tractors and ATVs/4-wheelers.\r\n\tWillingness to assist with routine maintenance and repairs.\r\n\tTeam-oriented attitude with strong work ethic actions should speak louder than words.\r\n\tProfessional, respectful demeanor in handling both livestock and client relationships.\r\n\r\n\r\nAbout the Facility:\r\n\r\nCompany has a long-established reputation for excellence. Embryo flushes are conducted bi-weekly year-round by trained technicians. The current team includes a facility manager and a donor cow manager.
