Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced veterinary surgeon to step into a senior role at a busy practice in South London. This is a sole charge position where you will be the main point of contact for clients, delivering excellent first opinion care and routine surgeries, while also offering guidance to an additional vet who rotates between nearby branches. With access to strong support teams locally and referral backup from a 24-hour hospital, this role offers both independence and reassurance of collaboration when needed.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing sole charge clinical duties, including consultations and surgeries
- Providing mentorship and oversight to a second vet working across the region
- Maintaining continuity of client care and strengthening local relationships
- Working closely with branch staff to ensure a smooth day-to-day service
- Referring complex cases to the 24-hour hospital when needed
