Job Description: Our client is seeking a versatile Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive first-opinion team in a permanent role. You’ll enjoy a mixed GP caseload across consults, dentistry and soft-tissue procedures, with structured 15-minute appointments and operating blocks that let you practice thorough, relationship-centered medicine.
In this position, your responsibilities will include:
- Shaping a balanced GP list across consultations, dentals and soft-tissue ops with sensible continuity
- Setting clear plans within 15-minute consults, delivering safety-first anesthesia and pragmatic discharge advice
- Leveraging imaging and in-house lab to reach timely decisions and documenting notes succinctly
- Co-ordinating smoothly with the wider multi-site team when covering Halifax/Bradford days
- Sharing case learnings in huddles and contributing to small, continual workflow improvements
