Veterinary Entry-Level Nurse/Receptionist – 1–2 Days per Week (With Potential to Increase)

At Kedron Veterinary Clinic, we’re a friendly, family-owned small animal practice made up of 3 veterinarians and 6 dedicated nurses. We're looking for a kind, motivated and reliable individual to join our supportive team as an entry-level nurse/receptionist.
This is the perfect opportunity if you're passionate about animal care and ready to take your first step into the veterinary profession — no prior clinic experience required!
About the Role
- Casual position: 1–2 days per week (including Saturdays)
- Potential to increase hours over time
- Flexibility to fill in for team members during sick days and annual leave
You’ll receive support and on-the-job training in a hands-on, nurturing environment. Your responsibilities will include:
- Welcoming clients and managing patient bookings
- Handling phone, email, and in-person enquiries with warmth and professionalism
- Assisting veterinarians during consultations
- Processing invoices and maintaining accurate records
- Helping with day-to-day clinic operations
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is currently enrolled in a Certificate III in Animal Studies or Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
- Has a strong desire to learn and grow in the veterinary field
- Brings a positive attitude and a team-focused mindset
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Is reliable, well-presented, and compassionate
